Jim came home to visit, so we took the kids to the zoo for the day

May 1 - Tiger game and accident

Jim and I went to the Tiger game while he was in town
at the game, just before we got the phone call.....
Got a phone call from my dad saying that my mom and kids were in an accident...Jim and I left the game and beat everyone to the hospital in Ann Arbor

Shelby had a abrasion on her neck and bruising on her belly...she had to stay in the hospital for 2 days
Mom got the worst of it..3 broken ribs and a fractured vertebrae. Mom in her brace at the hospital
Waiting to be discharged, Shelby and I went to the roof of the Mott hospital and played on the playground
Shelby's neck a few days later....it is all clear now, you can't even see she had anything happen
After mom got home and was feeling a little better, we bought dry erase markers and now the kids color on Grandma's brace whenever we are visiting.
