Big Boy Bed

Jimmy got a big boy bed from Santa... Jim put it together and Jimmy started sleeping in it last week... We had some issues with him getting up in the middle of the night and not wanting to go back to bed. We kept the crib up so that we could put him in the crib if needed. He jumped on the bed as soon as I put it in his room.

Sister loves the bed also, but she is starting to show Jimmy bad things on the bed, like jumping and climbing off over the headboard.Pretending to be sleepy....
The next 2 are from this morning (1-5-09)... We took the crib down yesterday and Jimmy is sleeping really good in his bed. No more getting up in the middle of the night. It is hard to believe that he is going to be 2 soon.

Lost another tooth

While at our friends exchanging gifts, Shelby lost her 2nd tooth on the bottom. She still didn't want the tooth fairy to come so they left the money under mommy's pillow. One of her top teeth is now loose....

Christmas with the Abbott's

We always have a visit from Santa when we go over to our friends house to exchange gifts. This is a little out of order since Christmas pictures are already up. Here is Shelby with Santa

Christmas Day 2008

The Christmas tree in the morning...

I am trying to keep a tradition like my mom had of my brother and I walking down the stairs or down the hallway on Christmas morning before seeing the tree. Unfortunately, Jimmy wouldn't cooperate and Shelby couldn't wait for him to stop throwing his fit in the hallway, so she came out to the tree.Jimmy decided to stop throwing his fit, but then decided to RUN down the hallway, so this is the best shot I could get of him....

Santa brought Shelby the 'Potty Girl' that she wanted Jimmy got an Elmo big boy bed and then Grandma and Grandpa Wilson got him these Mickey Mouse characters... he loves Mickey Mouse as much as he loves Spongebob

Shelby got her Hanna Montana guitar and headset from Grandma and Grandpa Wilson... she loves this present

Jimmy got a guitar from Grandma and Grandpa Bernal also... so now everyone can play the guitar. Unfortunately we are not a very musical family except for listening to it.
Jimmy also got this Cookie Monster set and wouldn't stop playing with it to open any other gifts.

Shelby opened up a package of batteries... and this is the look we got. She then said, "I got batteries?"

Grandma and Grandpa Bernal got Shelby a CD player boom box because she LOVES to listen to music and now mommy and daddy don't have to listen to Hannah Montana. This is what the batteries were for. Shelby and Jimmy got many gifts from Aunt Susan, Uncle Johnny, Maddie and Jack. Jimmy wasn't too into opening gifts, so mommy had to open most of his. Thank you everyone for all the wonderful gifts.

We have Christmas dinner at our house. My cousins, mom, dad and us are all their. Here is a picture of all my cousins and their bf/gf eating. My cousin Paul is VERY tall. I had to take a picture of the height difference of him and Jimmy. I come up to Paul's chest.

Sorry, I didn't get these up sooner.... our computer at home is very slow, so I have to wait until I get to work to post things. Here are Shelby and Jimmy just before leaving to go to Aunt Charlene and Uncle Art's house. Shelby got a Barbie

All the kids...Jacob, Morgan, Shelby, Andrew and Jimmy. You know you have to have one that won't look at the camera and one that isn't happy at all. It was a great time getting to see everyone and see how much the twins have grown.
