Zoo

We went to the Detroit Zoo on Saturday with Jim's brother and his family. Here are all the kids in front of the fountain at the zoo.

All of the kids did really good with it being hot outside. We had a really good time and can't wait to go again.
The penguin exhibit has been changed to support our 2008 Stanley Cup Champions

15 Month Pictures

We went and had Jimmy's 15 month pictures taken yesterday. He is starting to stand by himself alot more, so I am sure those 1st steps are going to be coming soon.

Aunt Susan, Uncle Johnnie, Madison and Baby Bernal went to Disneyland and they sent Shelby and Jimmy Mickey Mouse ears with their names on the back.
I wanted to get a nicer picture, at least without the pacifier in Jimmy's mouth, so I took the picture below after his bath last night. Unfortunately, Shelby wouldn't smile for her picture. This is the way it typically goes... Shelby will smile and Jimmy won't or Jimmy will smile and Shelby won't. Should be a fun time on Sunday trying to get Jimmy's 15 month pictures taken.

Tee Ball

Shelby is doing a Tee Ball clinic for 4 Saturdays. It started this past weekend. She seemed to really enjoy it. This is teaching her the basics, like catch the ball, hitting the ball, running the bases and positions. They will practice this again and then play games the last two Saturdays.

She is suppose to be running the bases here. She had to warm up a little before she would run without Jim, but as you can see from the next picture she started to run.
I had a blast!!!

Memorial Weekend

We went up north for the long holiday weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Bernal. We took the kids to this little park for a picnic lunch and to let them play. Jimmy loves to swing and Shelby loved going down the big twirly slide.
