Breakfast with Santa

Sunday we went and had breakfast with Santa. Shelby was so exicted and Jimmy did really good and didn't cry, he just looked at Santa like who are you?

Decorating the Christmas Tree

Shelby got to put a majority of the decorations on the tree this year. She really had a good time and it was fun watching her get excited.
She also got to put the angel on top of the tree.

While getting Jimmy's 9 month pictures taken we did Christmas pictures with both kids. Here is Shelby's present this year, her little brother.

9 Month Pictures

We went and had Jimmy's 9 month pictures taken and Christmas pictures of the kids. Below are Jimmy's 9 month pictures.

We wanted to have a little fun with the pictures, so we spiked up his hair since most of it likes to stand up anyways.

9 Months Old

It is hard to believe that 9 months has gone by. Jimmy is growing so fast.
Here he is in the crawling position, Jim and I have to put him in this position, but he will stay in it for a while. He doesn't move at all though
Jimmy standing against the couch. I had to put him in this position but he stayed here for a while and played with the toys on the couch. He is getting stronger with his legs.

Going back to Michigan

Here are Shelby and Jimmy waiting to board the plane to take us back to Michigan and the VERY cold weather.

Neither of the kids took naps before our plane left. Jimmy slept from take off to touch down (thank goodness) and here is Shelby asleep in her seat. She was passed out we had a hard time waking her up to get off the plane.

Thanksgiving

This was Madison and Jimmy's 1st Thanksgiving. Uncle Johnny deep fried a turkey, Aunt Susan had to work, but was able to get off in time to enjoy dinner with us. Everything turned out nice. Unfortunately, Jimmy was still sick so he didn't get to enjoy the good dinner that was cooked.

Visiting with Uncle Johnny and Madison

Here is Uncle Johnny, Madison and Shelby. We didn't get to see Uncle Johnny that much but when he was home the girls were all over him.

Sea World

Aunt Susan and Madison were kind enough to take us to Sea World while in Texas.

Here is Jimmy watching the Shamu show, he had gotten sick just before the show started but seemed alright after. We went to the Dolphin show after the Shamu show. Dolphins are my favorite.

After this show we ended up going to the kid area to let Shelby ride some of the kid rides. Shelby and I rode on a little ferris wheel and a roller coaster. Shelby was not scared of either of these rides. She went on the roller coaster twice. After the rides we had to leave because Jimmy still wasn't feeling good, but we had a good time seeing everything.

Going to Texas

I didn't get this photo up first but here is Shelby and Jimmy on the plane ride to Texas. Shelby really enjoys flying and she is very good on the plane. Jimmy did very good also for it being his first time.

8 Months Old

It is so hard to believe that 8 months has gone by. Jimmy is starting to sit up and play and hold his own bottle, and boy does he love his big sister. She can make him smile or laugh just by entering the room.
